Local 427-721 of the American Federation of Musicians (AFM) is a dedicated and pioneering force representing professional and performing musicians in communities across Florida.

We are a union of professional musicians, working together to improve the lives and working conditions of all musicians in our area.

Our jurisdiction includes the Tampa Bay area, Sarasota, Fort Myers, and Naples. Our members perform in some of the state's most respected and illustrious ensembles, including the Southwest Florida Symphony, Florida Orchestra, and Florida West Coast Symphony.
